Egan Bernal – My Journey, My Jersey
With the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia in his repertoire, Egan Bernal took the cycling world by storm at a very young age. Meanwhile, Egan also encountered the downside of being a cyclist due to a horrible crash. The Colombian Grand Tour star has designed this limited-edition jersey, drawing inspiration from his periods of glory and revalidation.

Each rider has his own story. In ‘My Journey, My Jersey’, our designers help them bring it out in the form of a special edition cycling jersey. By creating this, Bioracer wants to give the riders of team INEOS Grenadiers the credit they deserve.
The Escarabajos
On the back of the jersey, a dozen beetles have settled as a reference to the ‘Escarabajos’. This name refers to the Colombian cyclists who are known for their impressive climbing skills. As the first Colombian to win the Tour, Egan is one of the poster boys for the ‘Escarabajos’.
Grand Tour Victory Stripes
Winner of ‘Le Maillot Jaune’ and ‘La Maglia Rosa’, the direct reference to these heroic Grand Tour wins can be found on the back pocket with the yellow and the pink stripe honoring the corresponding Grand Tour victory.
Colombian Weaving
Yellow, blue, and red… the main color accents on the jersey. These Colombian colors are visualized as a woven pattern on both sides of the jersey, representing Egan’s love for his homeland.
